What type of Weed Killers & Sprays does South River Gardens use?
We use a range of weed killers + sprays! Budget Glyphosate sprays and standard Glyphosate sprays that kill weeds with contact, Path Killer sprays that prevent regrowth of weeds on bare soils + pavers, selective weed killers that destroy weeds while preserving lawn and completely natural sprays that are 100% environment, human and pet friendly!
Do you need to come to my property to provide a quote?
Not necessarily! When it comes to Maintenance jobs such as weeding, pruning, trimming & cleanups, most of the time, we'll just tell you the hourly rate over the phone and or email. Other jobs such as mulching, composting, garden bed refills, garden bed constructions and soil improvements will most definitely require an inspection though. Sometimes we can just provide you a quote if you provide us with photos of the work over the phone and or email.
How do I get a quote?
Simply send us a text, email or give us a call and tell us what it is that you need done. after a brief discussion, we'll run you by a plan and provide you with your quote. If the quote is accepted, we then provide you with a date of availability.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
We only charge an hourly rate when it comes to maintenance jobs. Other jobs that require materials, equipment and or machines will usually come with a charge of the entire job. Labour, materials, workers, equipment, square meterage, cubic meterage, it all gets accounted for.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Negative! as long as the property owner is comfortable leaving the access points unlocked, then we are all good to go!
What areas do you service?
It doesn't matter if you live North or South of the River, we have all, if not, most suburbs covered! Areas outside of the metropolitan area come with additional costs.
How often should I book Maintenance on my garden?
This depends on the type of garden, plants and trees that you have. we usually recommend anywhere between every 4-6 weeks.
What payment methods does South River Gardens accept?
whether it's cash, card or bank transfer, we are happy to take any payment that your comfortable with and we'll always provide you with an invoice.
Do you offer Commercial services?
Indeed, we do! We'll provide services to any job you need done!
Do you take away Green Waste?
Most definitely! This is a very popular service that we offer! We even offer this service without you having garden work done! whether its green waste or just general rubbish on your property, we'll get that waste collected and disposed for you!
